Job Description
The EHS Engineer reports to Modex Quality Director
The EHS Engineer will be in charge of the whole EHS within Modex Energy in Taicang .The responsibilities will also include but not be limited to
Set up and implement the Health and Safety programs/procedures for Modex
Work with related departments to review and set up safety procedures
Ensure that Modex meets organizational and regulatory standards and client acceptance and expectations.
To implement ISO 14001
To implement OHSAS 18001
To set up and lead the 5S work
To perform training when needed
Others decided by Quality Director
Requirements
Preferable education in related field (EHS)
At least 2 years prior experience in Environment, Health & Safety supervision or Management
Familiar with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001system
Competences
Possess logic and solid problem solving capability
Good interpersonal skills (can communicate with all levels of people effectively)
English skills. Writing and talking
Good in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point
Able to work under high pressure
Team player
Requirements:
· Preferable education in related field (EHS)
· At least 2 years prior experience in Environment, Health & Safety supervision or Management
· Familiar with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001system
Competences:
· Possess logic and solid problem solving capability,
