Job summary:
This position has significant responsibility for the smooth & efficient management of the Footwear operation, ensuring that all operational KPI's are delivered. As well as all financial aspects from the budget to CPU, executing cost savings & process improvements whilst building on making the CLC a great place to work.
Areas of Responsibility
1) Continue to build best in class processes & practice, build & maintain strong customer relationships, deliver reward & recognition schemes. Strive towards making the CLC a great place to work
a. Achieve the expected output of each operational process.
b. Responsible for the storage, physical condition, handling and shipping of all properties managed by the CLC operations
c. Ensure proper/efficient management of the day-to-day operations
d. Ensure proper/efficient management and tracking of inventories in CLC
e. Ensure proper tracking, documentation and correct invoicing of DC billable services
f. Ensure, improve and drive operational excellence and competences according to customer agreed and set targets ( KPI's)
g. Proactively suggest, lead and drive continuous improvement of information flows, logistic chain processes ( ex.order management, goods movements, space utilization, operational costs, value add, etc.) in close alignment with customer.
h. Deliver the "Key Performance Indicators" (KPI) by primary activities for the DC. Track the KPI's on a specified interval and communicate via reports, the KPI tracking to Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
i. Proactively lead and contribute to a professional, collaborative and creative work environment ( internal/external)
j. Lead and develop the DC team to reach high-quality operation and DC standards - maintain internal competence and propose/identify educational needs for competence growth
k. Ensure 100% compliance with Health, Security and Environmental ( HSE) requirements accordinig to the local & international standards / rules & regulations and customers and company's set targets.
2) Monitor departmental CPU and facility CPU on a daily/weekly basis
3) Compile Monthly and YTD statistics of the overall DC performance
4) Network within the client facility base to establish facility performance and ratings
Requirement:
Bachelor degree or higher in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Science
Minimum of 5 years work experience in DC operation or supply chain in a managerial role.

Basic financial awareness
Good Communication skills (Including presentations) at all levels
Computer literate in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project
Concerns for Order and Quality: has an underlying drive to reduce uncertainty in the surrounding environment
Quality Tools and Measures: can systematically apply quality tools and measures to continuously improve customer satisfaction and productivity
Good English, both written and oral
Strong people management skill
Relationship building: works to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships or networks of contacts with people
Team Leadership: has the intention to take a role as a leader of a team or other group
