Job summary and key objectives
Provide the leadership, direction, and management for all aspects of the manufacturing operation

Role priorities
? Responsible for developing the capacity and staffing modules needed to meet production targets for the site.
? Assures the accurate and timely reporting of various records which include: Time Sheets, WIP/finish Goods Record, Rework Reports, Check Sheets, Part List, etc.
? Create and maintain the master production and department schedule
? Lead the sales/demand planning function and supply planning.
? Lead the inter-company production planning process.
? Adjust safety stock level according to demand
? Direct all plant production team members to proper work areas, assuring shifts are setup and ready to start, train new team members, communicate job expectation and enforces company policies and procedure.
? Establish and maintains production quality standards.
? Assist in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of lean workflows and lean techniques.
? Manage labor hours during each shift, adjusting based on production need (i.e. cut or extend hours).
? Provide leadership in ERP development, utilization, and refinement.
? Be an active participant in defining and implementing best practices in production planning, including the establishment and effective use of procedures and work instructions
? Support department metrics, ensuring system accuracy for cross functional utilization.
? Continually works on process improvement and department efficiency. This includes recommendations to improve: production methods, equipment performance, overall work quality, working conditions, and use of equipment.
? Assist in educating team members on safety and awareness.
? Communicates with other supervisors or managers as needed to coordinate activities of respective departments or areas.
? Provide assistance to Operation Sr. Manager in business decision making. 举报 分享
