Our Company – iMPREG, Suzhou Co Ltd. located in Taicang–Suzhou, is a manufacturing subsidiary of a European company. Being a start-up company, we are now looking for candidates for the position as Logistic Supervisor.
About the position:
Purchasing and import of raw materials, machines and equipment from Europe as well as purchasing of raw materials and equipment in China.
Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Shipment of finished gods in China as well as overseas.
Oversee the warehouse management.
Requirements:
1. 5 years or above with hands-on experience from a logistic department in an international company.
2. Strong experience with regard to import and export of gods.
3. Bachelor degree or above, specialized in mechanical, engineering or science
4. Good communication skill; Fluent English or German and Chinese in writing and Speaking.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure competent quality execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
2. Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
3. Ensure correct procedures and right HS-code is used for import and export.
4. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
5. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work
6. Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
7. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
8. Handling and monitoring of claims to suppliers and vendors for defectives, shortage or missing parts.
9. Oversee the management of the warehouse
10. Plan and manage inventory levels of materials on stock.
11. Co-operating with the QC department in order to assess vendors and subcontractors.
