职位描述：
For support of our Lab Team in China, Shenzhen we are looking for a

Test Engineer with Mobile Phone experience (m/f)

VDE Global Supply Chain Services Co., Ltd. (a 100% daughter company of the VDE Testing and Certification Institute) provides independent and high quality testing and inspection services for manufacturers and retailers. With a team of western and local engineers in China we ensure the quality of electronic and mechanical products for many quality conscious customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:
?Act as liaison between Mexico customer engineering team and ODMs in Shenzhen to solve all technical issues during the device customization for Telcel
?Get to know Telcel carrier requirements and explain them to ODMs and make sure all requirements are fully understood by ODM technical team
?Perform test cases together with the Mexico Team
?Participate on customer calls with ODMs to follow up open issues on each new software release
?Flash phone and tablets and try to duplicate issues reported in Mexico, explain issues directly to ODMs
?Participate on units RF calibration together with ODMs, make sure units comply with Telcel requirements before they are shipped to Mexico
?Proactively contact ODMs to solve any questions regarding open issues
?Support pre-shipment inspections directly in the factory
?Provide quality consultantcy and in process control support
?Handling & Controlling of corrective actions
?Daily follow up and communication with customers

Qualifications:
?Education background in electronics
?Knowledge on Android OS versions and programming
?Knowledge on wireless technologies 2G/3G, UMTS, WCDMA and LTE
?Able to use tools to flash phones and tablets from different ODMs
?Able to use tools to capture logs from phone and tablets
?Basic use of Wireless analyzers (e.g. Rhode&Schwarz CMU 200, CMW500, Agilent 8960)
?Good self-organization and independent working skills
?Able to communicate efficiently in english (in written and verbal)
?Experience with Telcel homologation process for mobile phones and 3G tablets would be an great advantage
?Good understanding of quality standards and product safety / regulatory requirements
