As a Production Engineering/Supply Chain Manager based in KAL's new office in Shenzhen, you will be responsible for coordinating production, commercial and quality control activities within China and collaborating with KAL’s global engineering and commercial teams.

Our team is key to KAL’s success and is responsible for developing and selling our suite of ATM software products that are used by the world’s leading banks. We currently have offices in Edinburgh, Beijing, Sydney, Cincinnati, Chennai, Mumbai, Verona and Mexico City, and are now looking for a Production Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team from a new office in Shenzhen.

The role:
Reporting to KAL’s China Country Head, you will be part of the engineering team
Core responsibilities:
? Liaison with KAL’s suppliers and manufacturers in the PR China; being the “voice of KAL” with our suppliers and ensuring KAL’s best interests
? Liaison with KAL’s in-country professional advisors, which include engineering, legal and commercial professionals
? Supply chain management in conjunction with the engineering and commercial teams
? Oversight of warehousing and stock management
? Import/export oversight in conjunction with the commercial team and professional advisors
? Management of other internal projects and efficiency initiatives within business edicts and regulatory guidelines
About you:
? Must be a university graduate
? Light engineering and production management experience is essential
? Flexible problem solver willing to take on any task and manage a wide range of ongoing projects assigned to you and your team
? Knowledge of contract law is desirable but not essential
? Project management experience, or experience in quality control management is highly desirable
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
? Expert user of MS Office applications
? Able to pay close attention to detail whilst appreciating the bigger picture
? Quick learner who knows when to ask for guidance and how to seek approval for plans
? Must be fluent in English. Our working language is English
? Must have current legal status to be able to work in the PR China
