Part 1. Describe the Position

Summary:

This position will mainly take care of the indirect material purchasing for Friction business in ITT Wuxi. This position will also support some of the shared service purchasing for both Friction and Koni in ITT Wuxi.

A) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance.
? To be responsible for fulfilling MRO purchasing and shared service requests from different departments.
? To assess and develop new potential suppliers and to maintain the supplier database
? To request for quotation from supplier side and make quotation comparison
? To negotiate with suppliers for commercial terms to nominate supplier and ensure the best lead time and price
? To be responsible for contracting，ordering, following up order/delivery and payment arrangement for purchased goods
? To maintain the relevant contracts and keep all records up to date
? To make continuous improvement to achieve cost saving and better purchase condition
? To solve the problems related to suppliers
? To prepare the monthly report related.
? Others assigned by line manager.

? Good change management and problem solving
    
     Education & Knowledge/Skills
? Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical, or Industrial or Manufacturing engineering
? Strong negotiation, cooperation and communication skills
? Good analytical skills, attention to details, well organized

     Experience:

? Total 8 years’ experience in sourcing and supplier management
? 5 years’ working experience of indirect purchasing in MRO, sevices.
? Good experience in EXCEL, PPT and SAP system.
