Job Description:
The Field Applications Engineer will directly report to the Regional Sales Manager of PI North China. He/She will reside in or nearby Shenzhen, China. His/Her responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Do customer oriented discovery and be able to understand SMPS design and manufacturing issues, hence understand customer's real PSU specification.
• Provide optimized PI design with demo board and engineering report if necessary.
• Offer on-site customer support to troubleshoot customer devices
• Provide technical consultation for customer design-in needs
• Update customer design programs, share experience or elevate issues in weekly report and FAE meeting
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering team on demo board builds
• Achieve design win and design value goals.

Education:
BSEE/MSEE with emphasis on electronics

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of Switch Mode Power Supply Design experience
• Enjoy working in a challenging environment while demonstrating diligence and curiousness; promote team work
• Must reside in or near Shenzhen
• Has possession of, or can demonstrate ability to obtain Chinese travel passport and valid entry visa to the U.S.A.
• Moderate English language skills reading, writing and speaking
