Head Brewer - Brewmaster
Shenzhen Brewery
Future Brewery in the Shenzhen, China is searching for a full-time Head Brewer who can be creative while still having a solid knowledge of the basics. If that’s you, and you’re ready to take your amazing talents and bring them to the table, then apply today!
Job Responsibilities:
Brewing, cleaning and sanitizing brewing equipment, yeast propagation, cellar work, packaging kegs, inventory tracking, washing/filling kegs, helping build recipes, carbonating beer, making test batches and scaling up recipes, using a fork lift, guide brewers, and other responsibilities as they arise. Please review the required job duties below.
Job Requirements：
- Minimum 5-8 years production brewery experience
- Quality control experience
- Proven recipe building experience
- Exceptional cleaning and sanitizing experience
- Can frequently lift 65lbs
- Beer carbonation and storage knowledge
- Yeast Management
- Detail oriented & a good work ethic
- Fermentation
- Positive attitude
- Timely and effective communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task, and manage time efficiently
- Can work unsupervised when required
- Able to work nights and weekends when applicable
- Promoting the Brand at festivals, pubs, & events (at first)
- Excellent customer service
Desired:
- Accredited Brewing Education or Sufficient Commercial Experience
- An associates or higher degree from a 2 or 4-year college-
- Proven mechanical and electronic experience
- Excellent communication and record keeping- Results Driven
- Strong knowledge of the local brewery industry and market
- Strong Computer Knowledge
- Rock Solid Knowledge of Popular Beer Styles (Pale Ale, Pilsner, IPAs, etc…)
