Position Purpose & Objectives:
This Supplier LEAN Engineer will be responsible for supplier chain productivity growth, coaching and developing supplier with professional skill ( LEAN, six sigma, Project Management, QS9000) in align with Asia Sourcing Strategy and global procurement strategy;


Major Tasks and Level Accountability:
· Coach and develop current strategic suppliers and Stanley Black and Decker engineers to eliminate wastes, reduce operation cost in global supplier chain;
· Identify supplier LEAN projects, lead and coach each team execute it successfully;
· Leverage success story (LEAN / Kaizen / COPQ) to drive success in join productivity event;
· Communicate with major business unit and GSM team to better manage the information flow, like normal VMI order, promotion orders and new product development
· Work together with strategic suppliers to better manage material flow, not limit production floor, but including supplier's supplier, lead time and delivery frequency;
· Responsible for S1R1 (Sell One, Replenish One) program, identify opportunities, vendors and action plan, finally reduce the global lead time, reduce system inventories and then reduce our working capital;
· Documentation on best practices and submit to Corporate and GSM sharepoint website to benefit Stanley Black & Decker plants world wide
· Leverage quality KPI report and quality management system to identify opportunity in vendors;


Qualifications-Knowledge and Skills:
· Six sigma green belt is a must, black belt is highly preferred; (Pls don't apply for this job without Six Sigma green belt certificate or above)
· Familar with Lean System , such as 7 wastes,Value Stream Mapping, Pull Production, Cell Line, One Piece Flow and COPQ
· Strong Project Management skills
· Good communication and influence skills
· Excellent, broad business judgment to identify and solve issues across all business processes and functions
· Good English communication skills


Education or Experience:
- Major in IE , focus on Mechanical engineering process
- 3 + yrs solid Lean experiences in the industry
- Manufacturing and quality experience
