Job Description（工作要求）

Co-operate with our Design Team Oversea and China factory to define the manufacturing specification and control plan

Review the feasibility / reliability of the mechanical design solution

Co-ordinate with mold makers to follow up plastic / metal mold & tooling

Support in the developing of new suppliers, control tooling / mechanical parts cost, and mold plan

Evaluate the capacity / performance of material suppliers and sub-contractors

Conduct engineering trial, and co-ordinate with China factory for production pilot run

Monitor the development of tooling & prototype

Conduct engineering evaluation, data analysis & prepare engineering report

Follow up the product approval of trial run

Be a problem solver working with oversea design team and China factory

Liaise with our production team to work out the production process flow

Assist in other ad hoc projects if required



Qualification / Requirements（应聘条件）

Bachelor degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

Min. 5 years engineering and OEM product development experience in small household appliances / consumer products

Good communication skills and a team player

Proactive, diligent, enterprising, can work under pressure, and independent.

Experience in plastic & metal mold design / making, and various manufacturing process is a definite advantage

Experience in parts sourcing in plastics & mechanical parts from overseas and China is an advantage

Knowledge in product safety approval, CE & UL, & EU RoHS / packaging directive, REACH is preferred

Proficient in using CAD systems, and SolidWorks

Good command of English (CET 4 or equivalent), and Report writing

Frequent travel is required
