Job Description:

Take the lead of mechanical design for the global power system new product development.

a. Be familiar with the block diagram of the whole DC power system in Telecom area.

b. Must have the ability to evaluate and determine mechanical solutions per customer specification or product requirements.

c. Be able to develop multiple concepts for design review through brainstorming.

d. Create product documentation including drawings of assembly, cabinet, shelf, rack, door, plastic panel, wire harness, heat sink, fan, bus bar connection, nameplate etc.

e. Perform mechanical tolerance analysis and design improvement.

f. Take the lead of prototype samples building for design verifications.

g. Implement cost reduction of mechanical parts at design stage.

h. Implement DFT and DFM.

i. Follow up safety compliance.

j. Support trial run in manufacturing when it's required.

Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and forecast project plans and timelines to ensure on-time completion of all assigned projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or above in mechanical engineering.

Over 3-5 years mechanical design experience of power system products.

Strong analytical and problem solving capability in mechanical design.

Be professional to use CAD design tool like: Pro/E and AutoCAD, know-how on Intralink is plus.

Having basic thermal knowledge is plus.

Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) application.

Excellent written and good spoken English.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good team work experience.

Be highly self-driven and independent to work.
