Summary: Responsible for all Quality activities in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

？ Perform visual inspections on incoming materials for acceptable production use
？ Perform “on-line” production inspections in an established routine daily procedure
？ Provide analysis and judgment to “on-line” production as it relates to acceptability of product for consumer use and brand quality expectations
？ Perform problem solving analysis to defective product, on-line quality issues and create corrective measure reports for factory and US team
？ Develop and maintain inspection standards and check sheets
？ Support new product quality planning activities, specific to quality control plans and execution
？ Review and approve correctness of all shipping documents and product packaging and labeling
？ Communicate daily with the Far-East Operations Production Planner regarding any quality instance and/or production issue that may negatively impact on-time delivery
？ Assist and perform all specified and routine product testing procedures
？ Update and distribute quality reports on a daily basis to Far-East Operations Office and USA brand team
？ Provide leadership and teamwork in attending and completing these activities

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: Successful completion of a two year technical college program with an emphasis on electronics and 5 years’ experience. Bachelor's degree from four-year University preferred. Prior QA/QC management experience required with an emphasis on electronics component assembly and finished goods required. Digital Camera manufacturing experience a plus.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the English language. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers of the US team. Minimum of A6 level English language competency required in both reading and writing. Fluent in oral and written Mandarin. Cantonese a plus.
