Responsibilities

1. To do mechanical design and verification for
in-house smart phone development based on product ID and concept.

2. To work with ODMs from product concerting phase to
mass production, participate in ODM’s design review, testing result review as
well as ensure final product safety/reliability.

3. Being creative in mechanical parts design, failure
analysis and providing solutions quickly.

Requirements

1. Master degree with 5+ years or Bachelor degree with
8+ years working experience in mobile phone mechanical design areas.

2. Successfully delivered couple of smart phone
product(s) during recent years, as key contributor in the product design.

3. Strong mechanical engineering analysis and problem
solving skills.

4. Wide materials knowledge and demonstrated ability
in plastic and metal part design.

5. Experience with component modules (such as display,
battery, acoustic, camera module and wireless antenna etc.) and interconnects
(FPC design and ACF bonding).

6. Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturability),
DFA (Design for Assembly) and product safety.

7. Experience with Americas product design or working
in international companies is preferred.
