KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide in depth analysis of inventory positions in factories across the world
Drive divisions to achieve optimal inventory levels
Generate critical KPI for management to understand Inventory risks and opportunities
Coordinate global E&O activities
Analyze CMI /consigned inventory and propose optimal Min/Max levels
Drive Buyers to execute necessary Oracle change signals (cancellation and rescheduling)
Work as a liaison with Demand Planning Group and Procurement Group to provide validation and recommendation on materials and inventory planning processes
Provide guidance between all operating divisions and Supply Chain all the way through materials acquisition signal
Provide forecast visibility to International Purchase Office to drive optimal inventory level and minimize out of stock situation
Drive weekly meeting with Demand Planning and Procurement Groups to ensure clarity of demand and supply signal
Provide weekly and monthly metrics to drive for continuous improvements
Generate weekly alert and dashboard for Inventory Metrics
Work with Global Demand Planning Group to develop in-depth analysis (Inventory, Planning, Procurement Activities, etc…)
Support various management reporting requirements
Work with IT to identify & solve planning system issues

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience): Finisar is an Equal Opportunity Employer

5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, with strong analytical and problem solving skills in high growth organization
Solid Understanding of both frontend & backend planning
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Proven track record in proactive working with cross functional organizations
Oracle Planning experience strongly recommended (experience w/ Demantra a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communications skill are required
Proven ability to gather and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and provide recommendations
Optics experience a plus
Good Communication skills, ability to partner with key stakeholders to meet objectives
Demonstrated ability to formulate action plans quickly and implement solutions effectively
Excellent Excel and Access skill (complex formulas and modeling capability)
Experience with Agile (Product Life Cycle Management) a plus
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Power Point
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to follow and execute specific instructions with minimal supervision
