Role
Manage, coordinate and instruct all engineering staff activities to ensure product meets company's specifications, quality requirements and standards. You will manage & review all vendors’ production facilities and production parameters to ensure that all products meet SII clients’ requirements in mass production. Train and manage especially new Wendy’s team and ensure new client’s flawless delivery & satisfaction.

Ultimate Responsibility
Responsible for effective management of all engineering criteria at development & production stage to ensure flawless delivery of our clients’ products.

Responsibilities/ Tasks
? Responsible to support product development and production monitoring especially for the SII new client (Wendy’s team) and all other current SII Client projects and vendor partners
? Train China Engineering Supervisor
? Manage & supervise the China Engineering team (especially Wendy’s team)
? Develop and provide internal technical manuals for China Engineer staff
? Organize & manage all training programs for China Engineer staff
? Responsible to provide China Engineer staff with reviewed product specification, function requirements, forms, sizes and any special product requirements for model development, tooling development, EP development, PP development, review production facilities and production process on factory site.
? Analyze and work with factory to solve major engineering issues happening onsite at factory.
? Have enough knowledge to monitor and work with factory to solve failure issue on P&M testing in development stage; solve production issues related to engineering. (Major engineering issue not relating to safety hazard and serious function issue).
? Discuss with HK Engineering Project Manager product specifications, function requirements, forms, sizes and any other special requirement of product during project development stage.
? Analyze all technical documents and give clear directions to China Engineer staff to monitor and cooperate with vendor partner factory.
? Reviews factory Production documents prior mass production commences such as:
o flow charts
o work instructions
o injection parameters etc.
? Perform own Engineering job when time permits.
? Work closely with China QE Supervisor, QC Supervisor, HK Engineering Project Manager and factory to ensure all product development and production is smooth.
? Manages, monitor and take the most responsibility for administrative issues at SII China service office.
? Plans Weekly China Engineering staff schedule for engineering activities for:
o Sampling - EP/ FEP/ SAS/ PP/ RT/ LSS
o Intervention coordination with PI staff
o Inspections with Quality staff
o Others
? Report all major or critical engineering issues to HK Engineering Project Manager staff.
? Work closely with China Quality staff and regional PI Manager at all times.

Qualification
- 8~10 years on engineering & production(plastic, plush toys and etc.) experience and 5 years managing engineering team;
- Have ability to individually monitor and work with factory to solve major engineering issues (excluding safety issues and serious function issue).
- Have ability to individually review and analyze factory production documents.
- Have sufficient knowledge on testing equipment and testing standards to monitor product development and mass production at factory.
- Must be able to follow all operating procedures & protocols
- Able to communicate with vendor factories at all levels
- Proficiency with computers and systems required – Microsoft Office , Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to speak Cantonese
- Basic English written communication

? Indirect reports to HK Engineering Project Manager (administrative issues)
