Title: Quality engineer
Department: Quality and engineering
Reports To: Quality Supervisor
Location: Shenzhen China

Essential Responsibilities:

? Support ISO9001 standard implementation in China office.
? Support update quality metrics for presentation internally and externally on a daily / weekly basis (transit daily, present weekly or by exception issue).
? Participate in local quality team meetings.
? Manage customer specific New Product Introduction Process with support from Quality/NPI Inspector.
? 8D / 5C Corrective Actions – Immediate issue containment, root cause and corrective action.
? Key involvement with Continuous Improvement Programs.
? On site FAI inspection and reporting.
? Supplier audits and approvals.
? Certification support for engineering department.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

? A Degree/Diploma in Quality and environmental engineering and/or work experience relating to the responsibilities listed above.
? Good working knowledge of ISO9000:2000 Quality Standard
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
? Fluency in English and Mandarin.
? Strong planning and organisational ability.
? Track record in Project Management.
? Proactive approach.
? Commitment to learning.
? Good Team Player
