Job description
You will help our client, a growing company in the railway equipment manufacturer, build its purchasing and supply chain department. This is a temporary contract with possibility of permanence. Your responsibilities will include :
1. Defining all the processes (purchasing, supply chain)
2. Analyzing the client’s needs
3. Sourcing : indentifying potential suppliers
4. Evaluating bids and selecting suppliers
5. Negotiating contracts
6. Maintaining clear and efficient communications with key stakeholders, such as internal users, suppliers and management
7. Other related tasks
Requirements:
1. Degree in Purchasing or equivalent experience
2. Around 10 years of purchasing experience, Railway or Automotive industries experience will be preferred.
3. Have experience in management
4. Excellent written and spoken English
5. Strong ability to data analysis. Have strong ability of market investigation and analysis, good negotiation skills, good quality management, good business knowledge, basic financial knowledge, certain project management knowledge, familiar with purchasing process and supplier management process, familiar with IT tools.
