Job Responsibility:
- design the GAs and detail drawings for arrangement 3 and other arrangement fan drawings;
- design the impellers with stress analysis;
- design engineering 2D drawings for machining parts of fans like C/B, shaft, end caps, etc;
- design the lagging structure with production team;
- design fans below 250 degree C application;
- design the tools and jig for production to improve the efficiency and productivity;
- Inertia with speed up curve design to confirm the corrective on big motor selection with VFD control；
- Can instruct the design working with the designer team under the engineering discipline;
- do the FMA analysis;
- Spacer coupling selection;
- Research and development skill to simplify the standard fan design, new material application and design to improve fan efficiency, standardize design for un-standard fans;
- support the field engineer on the quality problem settlement;
- design team management
Requirement:
- Must can speak and write English;
- Understand the properties of the normal steel we used on fans;
- Understand function of the damper, IVCs to translate it to detail drawings;
- Understand the bearing life calculation and bearings selection (included Plummer block)
- Understand on the flexible couplings selection;
- Understanding the Halifax-fan standard M and V units structure, advantage and function for direct and belt drive;
- Understanding on the commercial parts like speed monitor, vibration monitor, junction box, earth boss etc;
- Understanding on the fan performance testing and trim balance;
- Basic knowledgement of fans type;
- Basic understanding on the shaft seal, packing seal, carbon ring seal and mechanical seal;
