QC Inspector
Reports To:Quality Manager
Position Summary:
Support Global Sourcing and Procurement from quality perspectives. Assure product quality compliance. Problem solving and continuous improvement
Primary Responsibilities:
– Conduct QC inspection.
─ Write the inspection reports and records, and submit the inspection result to related department and related person.
─ Well understand technology requirements, especially, electro heat and electromotive household appliances.
Frequent travels in china to visit factories (mostly in Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta )
─ Ability of strong analysis and process control, good communication and coordination skill
?Work with strategic suppliers for process improvement by using quality improvement tools and other statistical tools.
?Evaluate company product/quality specification
-Manage and improve quality scorecards and expectation. On site customer visits to facilitate quality issue resolving.
?Other duties assigned by Quality Manager
Required Qualifications:
?Minimum Education: College
?Minimum years of Experience: 5 years with electronic household appliance inspection experience.
Competencies:
?Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing and inspection experience. Quality and supplier development experience is required.
?Understand ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-1993 (MIL-STD-105E) and/or Statistical Process Control.
?Familiar with quality control and continuous improvement tools
?Good interpersonal communication skill
?Good at written and acceptable verbal communication skills in English
?Team player
?PC skill in Microsoft Office applications is must.
?Kitchenware/housewares or small electric appliance sourcing/manufacturing experience is a plus.
