Responsibilities:
· 1. Administer and create all jobs for JAPAC bookings on a daily basis ensuring agreed timescales are met.
· 2. Price all jobs and send pricing details back to headquarters for invoicing.
· 3. Input shipment, order and pricing details into the system.
· 4. Review and ensure all shipping paperwork is received for JAPAC shipments.
· 5. Manage customs clearance on shipments.
· 6. Prepare and co-ordinate documentation for export shipments.
· 7. Liaise with hauliers and shipping agents across JAPAC.
· 8. Generating stock reports and ad hoc reports as requested.
· 9. Track all shipments keeping the client well informed throughout.
· 10. Update and circulate JAPAC distribution schedules to clients.
· 11. Ensure Proof of Deliveries / Collections are sufficiently completed with all relevant information and provide the client with all relevant paperwork.
· 12. Pass purchase invoices and send details back to headquarters for inputting.
· 13. Liaise with Dublin headquarters on airfreight shipments to the European market.
· 14. Maintain records and files in an orderly manner in line with headquarters procedures.
· 15. Provide direct quality customer care to ensure customers’ expectations are exceeded
· 17. Recommend improvements and cost savings solutions
· 18. Independent resolution of job related issues including right priority setting
· Pro-active issue resolution
· 19. Develop relationships with clients, suppliers and other departments within the company.
· 20. Assist with the development and maintenance of procedural documentation.
· 21. Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.
· 22. Contribute to ongoing development of customer service to enhance the service provided.
· 23. Complete Ad hoc duties as required.
· 24. Continuously seek to improve ways of working and improve processes and procedures.
· 25. Participation in projects when required.
reddRequirements:
· 1. Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar or administrative role working in China
· 2. Diploma or above in Logistics or Supply Chain essential
· 3. Strong English with at least TEM 8 qualifications or CET or IELTS 6 qualifications(Both spoken and written English)
· Fluent English a distinct advantage
· 4. Competency using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).
· 5. Demonstrated career success to date.
· 6. Proven Customer Service skills, proven capacity to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
· 7. Knowledge of Logistics and Distribution.
· 8. Knowledge of administrative procedures.
