KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect the updates of industry regulations related with Rohs, Reach and conflicting mineral etc. and familiar with the relevant standards and be able to interpret properly.
Communicate with suppliers about industrial regulations and Finisar (FNSR) compliance requirements on Rohs, Reach, Conflicting mineral etc.
Follow up FNSR supply chain compliance projects, collate the response and review the compliance data and report from the suppliers, then update the progress in a timely manner.
Assist FNSR Green Compliance Team and site Quality Dept. to do further survey of the suppliers on basis of the customer’s special requirement.
Interface & co-work with supply chain engineering team and sourcing team to meet customer expectations on related compliance requirement.
Partner with and backup to relevant compliance audits when necessary.
Other tasks assigned by the management.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience): Finisar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Bachelor degree or above in Electronic, Chemical etc.
3+ years’ work experience in Restricted Substances area. Experience in quality or safety related industry would be preferred.
Be familiar with the related legislation and regulatory of harmful substances directive etc. and excellent working knowledge of ROHS related directive and a well understanding of testing or certification procedure.
Customer-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software application and good verbal and written English/Chinese communication skills are required.
