Job Description:

1. Contribute to a variety of projects in developing and sustaining SW/FW on ATCA systems, ranging from embedded software (IPMI/HPM/BMC/Shelf Manager) to customer high availability and hardware management application on Linux platform

2. Understand system requirements, define software architecture, implementation

3. Contribute to project estimation and planning.

4. Write software documentations

5. Cooperate with hardware engineer and test engineer.

Soft skill requirement:

1. Strong Self-learning ability.

2. Good communication skills and team work spirit.

3. Be willing to work in a multi-tasking, multi-sites, high pressure environment.

4. Fluent English language communication skills (including verbal/writing/reading)

Technical requirement:

1. BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or equivalent work experience is required. 5+ years working experience.

2. Skilled in C and shell development and debugging

3. RTOS or Linux development skill is required

4. Solid knowledge of IPMI/BMC/HPM and hardware management protocol, such as KCS, IPMB, SMBus, I2C, SOL.

5. Firmware development experience is required

6. Knowledge of ATCA platform, shelf manager is a plus.

7. Knowledge of multiple Linux distribution development skill is a plus

8. Familiar with software configuration management tools, like Clearcase, and bug tracking tool, like ClearQuest.
