PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

- To secure that IKEA Product Quality requirements are fulfilled every day with the overall goal to always increase the number of “Happy Customers”.
- To continuously contribute to the development of IKEA business by initiating more efficient production methods, packaging solutions and utilization of Raw material, more from less is a key word.

ASSIGNMENTS:
? Secure the product quality requirements
? Secure correct documentation is received, understood, communicated to and fulfilled by the supplier.
? Production risk assessment (FMEA) done and Activity Plan implemented and followed up.
? The product is tested, approved and documented according product description.
? Zero series and first delivery inspection completed and approved.
? Evaluating potential new supplier’s production facilities and Quality system
? Support the supplier to implement and maintain ISQS.
? Communicate and secure changes in product requirements, production changes and working methods
? Work proactively to improve Customer Experienced Product Quality and solve quality problems with the highest sense of urgency. Octopus and secure functions of our components in the furniture.
? Regular follow up and feedback to the supplier regarding quality performance and production processes at the supplier facility
? Lead the technical development, implement and development of new products and start of running products at suppliers.
? Secure the product requirements when running products are moved to or from a supplier
? Share best practice on previous product and production experiences to suppliers.
? Contribute and lead improvements in projects, including production processes, packaging, and product changes.
? Support the supplier in Technical improvements that will result in better working condition (fulfilment IWAY) in production and/or reduced negative environmental impact from the operations. (CO2)

? Complaints handling time
? Complaints
? Number of projects delivered in time.
? Cost savings accomplished.
? Supplier Survey
? Chemical compliance

KNOWLEDGE:
? Stamping production process and/or powder coating knowledge is preferred.
? Carbon steel materials
? 3D & 2D drawing capability and knowledge of tolerance
? Quality management systems
? Understanding of sustainability requirement
? Auditing techniques and analysis of suppliers working methods and performance
? Very good in English language, both written and spoken
? Good computer software and systems skills.
? Quality tools as Production risk assessment (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
? Lean six sigma tools and continuous improvement capability

? Leading the assigned issues in the entire supply chain, between the suppliers and IKEA Components as well as in the Purchasing team
