职位描述

Able to work alone and with strong communication skills. Plenty of skills in vendor management to ensure the KPI in vendor side for on-time delivery will meet company’s requirement and the procured parts not affect production schedule. Be experienced and familiar with procurement for metal parts, printing materials and packing materials such as EVA, blister, polybag and master cartons etc. Can continuously drive vendors for the cost-down. Strong team work attitude and can be flexible for different roles in purchasing department.

Job Duties

1.Ensure all parts or services procured can support production schedule and on-time shipment.

2.Work together with manager and all team members to implement inventory control, including but not limited to set up the vendor delivery schedule, make sure all suppliers’ delivery including time and QTY will be in compliance with our schedule, reduce overstock and ensure buyers perform regular review of items in stock without demand and look for opportunities to use it.

3.Work with QC team to ensure quality issues are being addressed to vendors, and provide suggestion to vendors for action and improvement in future delivery, and return all those defective components to suppliers in a swift way.

4.Carry out Supplier Management procedure and monitor and implement vendor performance evaluation procedure. To ensure all suppliers’ selection should be based on our supplier selection procedure and suppliers can meet our OTD requirement, and vendor performance evaluation should be based on OTD rate, ES audit result and quality control system in suppliers’ side.

5.Set up standard lead time of all responsible procured parts and try to improve the lead time.

6.Responsible for continuous cost down in supplier side to save cost for the company.

7.Other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT


1.University education or above, major in international trade, logistics.

2.At least 3 years working experiences in related areas

3.Experiences in procurement and vendor management are must. And it’s preferable to have experiences in procurement and cost control for metal parts, packaging materials for home goods.

4.Experiences with MRP, and SAP is preferable.

5.Skillful Microsoft Office Programs (words, excel, ppt, outlook, etc.)

6.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, working English is a must.

7.Must be extremely well organized, work well under pressure and be a strong problem solver.

8.Self motivated with good initiative – work well with minimal supervision.

9.Experiences meeting multiple deadlines - must be adapt for multi tasks.

10.Strong team player with demonstrated ability to motivate others.

11.Honesty and no corruption found or recorded in past careers.
