Job summary:
This position is responsible primarily for performing day-to-day activities in support of the company’s sales goals. Responsible for a variety of duties related to the full ecommerce sales cycle, from product sourcing through to post-sales customer service. Helps make informed decisions based on knowledge of the Company’s objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Essential Functions:
1. Content management of the Company website, eBay, Amazon, and all other “dot com” sites
2. Collaborate with Customer Service Department and Warehouse to analyze product performance and adjust marketing efforts accordingly
3. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
4. Creation of product copy, verification of product specifications and posting to multiple marketplaces
5. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends
6. Develop pricing strategies, balancing company objectives and customer satisfaction
7. Maintain a working relationship drop ship accounts
8. Analyze sales trends
9. Research market conditions to determine potential sales of products
10. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution
11. Regular communication with overseas headquarters regarding sales and marketing strategies and performance
12. Personal ongoing development to maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the job
13. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job requirements:
1. Read and write in fluent English
2. Able to travel to USA for 7-14 days training if needed
3. Obeying management orders
4. Excellent organizational skills
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
6. Results-driven
7. Person with creative and production ideas
Experience:
1. Highly proficient with computers and internet (working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word); experience with Adobe Photoshop and any html editor, a plus.
2. Prior buying/selling experience on various ecommerce marketplace platforms (eBay, Amazon, Taobao, etc.)
