I. Position Summary

Help APLL to grow and expand across all the lines of business, by delivering and developing APLL products into Guangdong & peripheral markets to win as much new business as possible whilst developing new business with current customers, and working with other functional teams like pricing, operation, marketing and engineering to continuously improve the competition of our products as well as develop new products to align with market needs and to achieve assigned both top line and bottom line finance result.

II. Primary Accountabilities

A) Achieve or exceed budget in IFS profit, volume and revenue;
B) Work closely with functional GMs to deliver related strategies;
C) Developing new IFS customers, digging out more business from existing customers with maintaining good relationship with them;
D) Actively conduct analysis of market needs in logistics area, indentify growth opportunities, and work with relative functional teams to develop products with workable solution and competitive rates;
E) Work with CNS operation team for vendor logistics program development;
F) Conduct customer presentations and detailed sales/project proposals;
G) Follow up for Shenzhen part in global bids and service contract negotiations;
H) Big Game Hunting program follow up;
I) Prepare required sales plans and reports;
J) Proactively work with operation and finance department to ensure all payments are collected within agreed timelines;
K) Any other related duties / projects assigned by Manager from time to time to meet the business needs.

III. MINIMUM Requirements

A) Strong passion for business development;
B) 5 years BD/sales experience in 3PL/Forwarding industry, and rich knowledge in local operations and market practice. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Sales Representative or Senior Sales Representative;
C) Ability to easily understand/capture customer’s challenges in logistics area and structure effective solutions;
D) Communication skills, listening skills, negotiating skills, and relationship building skill;
E) Customer Focus - meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acts with respect to customer in mind;
F) Leadership - can thinking in multiple different standpoints, looks toward the broadest possible view of an issue/opportunity, and take lead to drive for results;
G) College/University degree required;
H) Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
I) Less experience but with stable customer base will also be considered
