To support our ongoing expansion in China, we are looking for a dynamic engineering professional to join the team as:

Position : Senior Manager (Mechanical Components)

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will report to the Global Director - Mechanical and will be closely involved in Sourcing and Supplier Management activities focussed on Mechanical Components - both metal and plastic. Specific responsibilities include:

? Identify and qualify suitable suppliers of Mechanical Components in China, including Sample Qualification
? First Article Inspection
? Oversee manufacturing processes, including tooling and moulds
? Conduct periodic Quality checks and Failure Analysis, as required
? Ensure that products meet high Quality and Reliability standards
? Supplier Capability Development through Engineering Support

Requirements

? Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Materials) from a reputed university
? About 10 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or Procurement of High Reliability Mechanical Components - both metal and plastic
? Strong exposure to production processes such as Extrusion, Metal Stamping, Die-Casting and Injection Moulding.
? Knowledge of local Supply Base for Mechanical Components
? Exposure to working with US/European MNCs preferred
? Ability to work independently and remotely
? Willing to travel – both within China and overseas, as required
? Excellent communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English
