POSITION PURPOSE:

? Engineer and optimize product design with consideration on safety, cost and timing for clients' requirements.
? Provide engineering support to other teams and tackle the engineering issues.
? Investigate the possible manufacturing solution for innovative products, assist to expand the supply base for Creata products.
? Execute the direction from Engineering Management.


ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

? To study the design concepts and provide engineering input (cost estimation and design feasibility).
? To monitor the project status in conjunction with the master schedule provided by the Project Team.
? To communicate with the overseas counterparties within the Creata's group and vendors to ensure the product meeting the client's requirements within the committed schedule.
? To prepare and maintain the engineering specifications such as tool plan, color call-out, drawings, photos and models etc.
? To verify the design complies with the customer and safety requirements during the product development stage.
? To monitor and manage the prototype and tooling development work.
? To create and maintain the database in CIMS which relate to the engineering field.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

? Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering
? At least 1 year working experience in toys industries
