PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Grow Sales within the parameters of both company profitability and Brand guidelines.
2.Direct assigned Sales Representatives by monitoring territory activity and working with them to achieve desired sales targets.
3.Develop special programs, provide special quotes, forward and follow-up on leads, provide product information and accompany them as required.
4.Respond to inquiries from Sales Representatives and customers. Follow-up on all major orders and ensure customer requirements are met.
5.Work with internal departments and Representatives to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
6.Communicate to Sales Representatives on new product developments, price changes, etc.
7.Manage house accounts directly. Ensure customer contracts are signed and all parties are copied.
8.Maintain accurate customer records.
9.Coordinate regional Trade shows and marketing meetings. Ensure adequate staffing and training is accomplished.
10.Monitor and generate monthly sales reports and analysis.
11.Stay knowledgeable of the retail market, reporting sell thru, quality issues, knock-offs, trends, etc. to other internal departments or team mates to further enhance Umbra's market position.
12.Other duties as assigned from time to time.


KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

1.Business degree with an emphasis in marketing.
2.5 to 8 years of sales/marketing experience along with 2-4 years of sales management experience.
3.Knowledge of the gift/house wares industry, and in depth knowledge of key accounts in industry.
4.Strong PC skills.
5.Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skills.
6.Ability to manage the performance of others to achieve desired results.
