Job Summary
A hardware reliability team is looking for a highly motivated individual with background in both hardware and software to guide development teams towards a reliable design of new products and their components. Through deep investigation and collaboration, we strive to provide customers an experience of enduring quality through these products so
integral to our lives.
Candidate will be assisting in management of the reliability programs, development of new test procedures to quantify the reliability of a design, development of new software for reliability data analysis, and development of new test automation scripts.
Responsibilities include:
? Preparing concise and detailed test plans and test reports
? Development of new reliability tests procedures and specifications
? Statistical data analysis to provide risk assessments of a design
? Software development for the internal statistics tools and data analysis tools
? Prioritizing and completing tasks to meet deadlines
? Interacting with a wide variety of individuals and teams to communicate results
? Less than 5% traveling frequency
Key Qualifications
? Have a basic understanding of the physics behind material properties (mechanical, electrical, optical and material science)
? Strong programming skill (such as Matlab, Python...) for statistical data analysis.
? Advanced programming skill (such as image processing, machine learning) is a plus
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Exceptional problem solving abilities and work independently
? Strong attention to detail
? Ability to handle multiple projects at once
? Ability to complete tests and resolve problems in an unattended manner
? Flexibility to accept new tasks
? Dynamic and “can do” attitude engineer with the dream to work with a phenomenal team and product
