KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualify and Develop suppliers to ensure on time delivery of high quality parts. Responsibilities include:
- Review & approve supplier DFM, Technical Questions, and Stack-ups
- Provide process recommendations at supplier for difficult to manufacture PCB designs
- Perform DFM on new PCB designs to reduce cost and improve manufacturability and reliability
- Maintain all supplier capabilities and determine best fit for PCB platform against supplier
- Able to recommend high speed materials up to 40G for cores and dielectrics and still maintain RoHS compliance
- Able to interface between supplier & PCB design team
- Able to sort through Bills of Materials (BOMs) and initiate Deviations & Engineering Change Orders
- Expert in impedance control, Polar software
- Position resides in FNSR SZ IPO, and requires up to 70% domestic and international travel

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience):
- 8+ years experience in PCB fabrication
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Understanding of Multi Source Agreement (MSA) for transceiver industry
- Understanding of Mix Flowing Gas requirements for connectors (pluggable PCBs)
- Fabrication of flexible circuits
- Able to perform stack up of tolerance analysis
- Familiar with PCB related Reliability Test
- Familiar with PCB UL.
- Statistics (eg Cp, Cpk, Gage R&R, DOE)
- IPC 600, 610, 6012, and 6013 minimum
- Software: PADs layout, Minitab, AutoCAD, CAM350, and Polar impedance, Agile
