RPDK seeks an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our small Shenzhen office to support the planning of projects. This will
include managing multiple factory delivery schedules as part of 2-4 concurrent projects and communicating these between the
local engineering team and the RPDK team in London, UK. The role requires somebody who is confident negotiating timing
plans with factories, managing project plans and timelines and communicating with the English speaking UK team.
RPDK is a UK based business helping clients develop and manufacture new products. We work in a wide variety of industries
with particular focus on medical devices, consumer electronics and sustainability projects. The UK office focusses on the
engineering development of new devices, whilst the China office focusses on the production setup and management of
manufacturing stages of NPD. RPDK is part of the Kinara International Group, a global business supporting end-to-end product
development, sourcing and manufacturing for clients.

Job Responsibilities:
? Responsible for aligning with the UK team on the client requirements for NPD manufacturing, including supplier
setup, DVT, PVT and Short Run Batch Manufacturing
? Responsible for organising with suppliers to meet the plan requirements of the client and UK team
? Responsible for monitoring and managing the suppliers’ delivery plan according to our schedule and update our plan
where necessary due to delays
? Responsible for preparing the work schedule for 2-3 engineers in the SZ office to ensure the correct support is
provided to the projects and suppliers as required
? Responsible for working with the procurement manager to establish the forecast costs for each supplier and
communicating these to the UK team
? Responsible for collecting supplier invoices and submitting to the UK team for payment
? Responsible for overseeing usage of the MRP
? Responsible for overseeing the supplier audits carried out by the team and ensuring documentation is stored
correctly and kept up to date
? Responsible for continuous improvement suggestions and implementations for the operation in China and
collaboration between China and UK
Requirements and Qualifications:
? Good written and spoken language skills in Chinese Mandarin and English
? Experience of working in project management roles in engineering and/or manufacturing
? Experience with using MRP systems
? Strong Microsoft Excel skills
? Engineering or English Language degree preferred but not required
Reporting Lines:
? This person will report to the CTO, based in London, UK. The CTO travels regularly to the office in China and will be
in phone communication 3-4 times a week for planning and collaboration on tasks.
? The CTO will be responsible for your career development and skills development through the year
? This role will not be directly responsible for the management of any staff, but we expect the person to fit into a
collaborative team that work to support and develop each other.

Travel: Frequent travel to GuangDong City and the surrounding areas to visit factories and suppliers. No regular international
travel required. Annual trip to London Office if required.
