US Company with office in Shenzhen needs smart Mechanical Engineer with more than 3 years working experience. You’ll be working (primarily) on our Carnival Garden and soft goods business platform.

Frankly, this is the kind of experience that’s going to look awesome on your resume in the future. You’ll learn a lot, because you’re going to be right in the middle of our strategic planning sessions as we try to figure out how to complete our production agenda in the most efficient manner possible. Other companies tend to outsource or offshore this sort of work but we want a person in the office working for us full-time will make everything go faster and yield better, clearer results.

We’ve already had a team working in this field, but we need one more person due to our growing business. Basically, we have identified the need and we’re staffing it up so that we can make our growing business grow at light speed. It’s highly possible that the kind of person that we hire for this position could grow up with this position and turn the system and the position into something truly spectacular.

This is a full-time position. And you will need short term travel but you won’t have to work weekends - unless we work out an arrangement where you do work weekends. OT is not required, but if you’re FT and are doing an awesome job for us and want to put in more hours, we’re willing to talk.

Here it is the Essential duties and responsibilities for the ME position:

1. Generate new concepts and develop prototypes for concept proof and selection

2. Review concept testing results and access manufacturability of new products

3. Responsible to review the manufacturability of new product through the use of DFM, FMEA & etc.

4. Final product design for new products;

5. Making sure a product can be made on budget, reliable and perform consistently in specified operating environments.

6. Producing details of specifications and outline designs.

7. Generation of the mold tooling design and development task request;

8. Development of product qualification test protocols

9. Review and disposition of qualification test data

10. Provide technical support throughout product life cycle

11. Analyze problem in production and find out the root cause

12. Support cost reduction and continuous improvements of product and process

And you are welcome if you meet the below Qualifications:

1. College degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Integration with minimum 3 years' mechanical design experience of mechanical products, experiences with outdoor products are preferable.

2. Strong knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical technology, such as mechanical properties of plastic, rubber, metal and prototyping, as well as their processing and assembly technology i.e. injection molding, stamping, die casting, decorations etc.

4. Some knowledge of FCC, CE and ETL regulatory

5. Familiar with Pro/E wildfire 4.0 , know some artwork design such as CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator , Photoshop are preferable

6. Excellent ability in reading and writing English is required, and fluency in listening and speaking English is preferred
