Responsibilities:

• Provide project management oversight of external teams developing next generation mobile accessories and consumer electronic products, across the entire product life cycle.
• Manage relationships with vendors, drive all development projects forward and make sure projects are delivered on time in full
• Develop, document, and deploy new processes, with initial focus on mobile accessories development under design controls.  Ensure our products are compliant with the relevant internal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage QC team and responsible for product quality

Skills & attributes:

• Sufficient familiarity with New development processes as well as cross category experience
• Working knowledge of high-level design & development processes across a wide range of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, industrial design, usability/human-factors, and manufacturing.
• Exceptional technical problem solver, with ability to scope out, plan, and lead others to investigate and solve challenging problems 
• Thorough understanding quality controls, measurement systems and techniques
• Experience using 3D CAD tools.
• Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and foster positive relationships with our OEM partners, as well as our internal teams across all brands.
• Talent for project management, specifically driving external teams to deliver timely, tangible results.
• Frequent travel to factories is required.

 

Education & Experience:

• BS required in Industrial Design/ Mechanical Engineering, MS preferred
• 5+ years of product development experience of accessories product as well as experience on Health related products
• 3+ years team managing experience
• Experience developing consumer products or with related technologies or applications preferred.
