FPGA Engineer - Shenzhen
This role is based in Shenzhen.
The area: Engineering
Black Arrow is a small and ambitious software and hardware developing company. The C# MVC team will implement the company's public and internal websites.
The role: Principal FPGA Engineer - Shenzhen
Black Arrow has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Electronic Hardware/FPGA Engineer. You will be a key member of the Black Arrow Electronics Platform engineering team. This position will provide electronic hardware analysis, design and development for small embedded products. The focus of this role will be to provide detailed HDL or Verilog design, System Analysis and Modeling. You will have the opportunity to be part of our success and have decision responsibilities.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Designs and develops digital electronic hardware.
Creating design specifications, chip level architecture, FPGA/ASIC design and test, including all phases of FPGA design; RTL coding, simulation, debug and system test.
Perform ASIC emulation and prototyping using FPGA devices.
Responsible for HW bring-up and debug of designs.
Develops detailed test plans suitable for verification of design robustness. (FPGA/ASIC functionality)
Organizes and structures and delivers design documentation packages into document control system.
Required Skills
Required to have extensive experience in FPGA design with Verilog language and related FPGA design tools
Experience with high speed ADC/DAC interface design
Experience with digital signal processing and implement complex algorithm into FPGA
Experience with Digital Front-End Design
Experience with ORCAD schematic capture - is an added advantage
Experience with fiber optic communication protocol and interface - is an added advantage
Strong diagnostic skills and capability of resolving complex FPGA and PCB issues
Familiar with signal integrity, electrical noise and grounding is a plus
