Title: Purchasing Specialist (M/F)

Reports to: Purchasing Manager

Location: Shenzhen

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify potential suppliers while consolidating overall supply base, able to reach our requirements (based on RFQ).

• When required, visit potential and existing suppliers to check on quality level.

• Contract negotiation on costs, terms, capacity, lead-time and quality with our suppliers.

• Follow up with existing and potential new suppliers on issues such as quality or on-time delivery.

• Be the main contact with our suppliers.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, in Engineering-related

• At least 5 years’ experience with similar responsibilities. Strong understanding Automotive industry and with raw materials such as plastic or metal is mandatory.

• Languages: Fluent in Chinese and English

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (speaking and writing)

• Good negotiation skills, quality-oriented and problem-solving oriented mindset

• Meticulous, you have a significant understanding and knowledge of quality controls’ requirements

• Dynamic, proactive personality, you are a team player

• Business trips: You are willing to travel a lot, for business-development purpose.
