Configura works with parametric configuration. We develop software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, material handling, and kitchen and bath industries. In the background of the software, prices and configurations are automatically calculated so the user can focus on the design. We are a global company with customers in 10 countries and users in more than 100. Configura is headquartered in Linkoping (Sweden), with four wholly owned subsidiaries in Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA), Berlin (Germany), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Shenzhen (China) and a small office in Gothenburg (Sweden).

Our Shenzhen office is growing and we have an opening for a communicative and committed team player who will work within our Project Management process. You will work within a global team contributing to the planning, executing, communication, and delivery of a variety of software projects. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to external projects with our Partners as well as R&D effort that strengthens the entire community and performance of our software.

You are an organized person who naturally creates transparency around expectations, deadlines, and team accountability. QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Level: Intermediate to mid-level

Responsibilities:

- Create an agile project plan in collaboration with technical talent
- Track and communicate project progress in a digestible format
- Facilitate an iterative development process to create a high level of engagement from all project parties
- Facilitate Scrum activities like stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as appropriate to the cadence of the project
- Communicate and articulate project risk to enable educated decisions to be made as to the course of the project
- Drive the project towards milestones and delivery markers in collaboration with the project team
- Collaborate with Partner’s Account Managers to support in the delivery of long-term visions for the Extension and impacted business processes
- Ability to facilitate multiple projects at once as appropriate to size and complexity
- Facilitate discussions in decision making across technical and non-technical talent that includes but is not limited to team members within our Partner’s organizations
- Coach and facilitate the team through estimation exercises at the task and roadmap levels
- Remove roadblocks from the team that inhibit progress
- Contribute to resource planning activities to align and secure appropriate talent
- Support the education of new Partners during the sales process as appropriate
- Coordinate effort across global project teams that span multiple time zones

- Manage both China and Japan market.

Requirements:

- 3 + years’ experience managing projects in a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role
- Experience in an agile and/or scrum environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience communicating to project stakeholders
- Experience in software development in any sort of facilitator or manager role
- Willingness to embrace change and seek opportunities for improvement
- Ability to travel locally and globally
- Action-orientated with a positive and engaging energy

- Required language: English, Chinese and Japanese
