Your new responsibilities:

1. Manage all procurement, sourcing and supplier-focused activities in accordance with procurement strategies and regulations within product portfolio and/or customer sales projects in order to reach project targets. Manage BOM cost target and data for component lead times .

2. Act as one face of the Procurement organization to the project leader and the members of the Product Introduction Team (PIT) and actively contribute to project execution. Coordinate and organize the involvement of specific Procurement functions, tasks and resources as necessary. Communicate the procurement setup and activities within the PIT.

3. Analyze the material demand within product portfolio and/or customer sales projects based on the marketing/ sales forecasts. Investigate project/ sales related information, define and consolidate the material demand with cross functions and develop a potential suppliers list in collaboration with the Category Procurement organization. Setup and implement a sourcing plan, organise handover to operational Procurement (eg. plant Procurement) and control the material cost and material related additional cost.

4. Initiate, communicate and execute supplier management activities for the qualification, selection and contracting of suppliers in close cooperation with respective cross functions in a timely manner. Organize the early involvement of suppliers and secure technology alignment according to project needs. Support supplier monitoring and development by performance feedback.

5. Report the sourcing status and target achievements as procurement contribution to the project leader and the Product Introduction Team (PIT) and to the Corporate and Commodity Business Management. Manage data for all cost down measures in OMT.

What we look for:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree with some related experience.

2. Supplier Management Know-How, Commercial and legal Contract Management Know-How; Cost Analysis Knowledge and Methodes;

3. Good strategic Procurement experience; working in a procurement function and/or cross-functional experience through project work in a related functional area.
