Assistant Manager Seafreight operation:

1. Assist the department manager to in charge and manage daily operations and ensure the team compliance within area guidelines and Company’s policies and procedures.

2. Responsible for the profit and loss of the seafreight department.

3. To review and implement proposed suggestion on improvement /changes to improve efficiency of operation.

4. To study regularity reports and provide solutions to improve the data quality, reduce irregularities.                          

5. To review, establish, and upgrade quality of training needs and materials in collaboration with Managers, and delivery of the training whenever necessary..                                      

6. Assist the department manager in evaluating, reallocating resources, monitoring the team members’ performance and workload and provide assistance where and when necessary to ensure optimal efficiency.

7.To take up additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Know how in entire international seafreight operation.    
2. Working experience in logistic/forwarding industry( Min. 5 years)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Proactive, resourceful, responsible, independent, and assertive
