Position Purpose
Responsible for supplier audit, quality monitoring, trouble shooting.

Functions
1. Audit suppliers aperiodically and follow up the corrective actions until comply to ALTRA's quality system requirement.
2. Check incoming materials defects found by IQC and complained by other departments.
3. Check with supplier and follow up the corrective report from suppliers till to closed for the incoming material defects.
4. Make sure suppliers understanding clearly for the specifications.
5. Go to suppliers' factory to check & help their process control randomly.
6. Monitor supplier quality perfomance and take improvement initiative. Help them to improve cost, quality & delivery performance continually.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree or above, Major in Mechanical Engineering or related to.
2. Above 3 years of SQE working experience.
3. Good English skills with both verbal and written.
4. Good inter-personal skill. communication and good team player.
5. Good knowledge of TS16949: 2000 standard and master the application of FMEA, SPC, PPAP..etc tools.

The major job:
1/ Supplier quality trouble shooting and supplier quality improvement...daily job like following IDR,SS data follow up.
2/ Work closely with Engineer and Suppliers for supplier's process improvement continuously.
3/ Be able to audit supplier alone or with Engineer or buyer...quality system audit or process audit. Should know well process.
