Manager of Quality Assurance

Job brief

We are looking for a reliable Manager of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.

An excellent Quality Assurance Manager has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle.

The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve inspection reports and factory audit reports
• Resolve issues related to product quality on time so there is minimum impact to the shipment delivery
• Check samples against compliance reports to ensure they meet with required standards.
• Conduct factory audits or on-line inspection when it is necessary
• In house sample evaluations
• Provide technical support to purchasing, sourcing, factories and customers to ensure product compliance.
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Teams with sourcing and purchasing to ensure technical specifications are adequate and vendors can deliver on quality expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management 

Requirements

• Degree or above in related discipline preferred
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial level, manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of ISO9000/ISO14000/AQL 2.5/4
• Knowledge in consumer electronic, manufacturing process, technical audit and QC inspection.
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communication effectively with internal and external parties
• Strong problem-solving skills, handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment, strong analytical thinking
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
