We develop software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, material handling, and kitchen and bath industries. In the background of the software, prices and configurations are automatically calculated so the user can focus on the design. Configura is headquartered in Link?ping (Sweden), with four wholly owned subsidiaries in Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA), Berlin (Germany), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Shenzhen (China) and a small office in Gothenburg (Sweden).
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
We have an opening in our Shenzhen office for an energetic individual who is eager to grow our Account Management efforts.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our Partners are educated and supported to thrive in our software and CET Community. From assuring they have what they need to develop an Extension, to connecting key contracts in taking advantage of our support services, Account Managers are responsible for articulating life-cycle management of CET Designer.
In addition to nurturing the relationships between Configura and existing Partners,
this role also includes the responsibility to identify potential Partners and their needs and business goals to
determine how our solution is in line with their objectives.
The Account Manager will support business development efforts in the transition of sales prospects to Partners
by making recommendations that align with their business needs.
Acting as an educator, you will guide potential Partners through the sales process by helping them understand what is possible with CET Designer.

You understand the importance of supporting the production teams as they execute projects for our Partners, and you act as a liaison between Partners and Configura leadership to articulate market trends, issues and opportunities impacting our partners and users. You are a problem solver who understands the value of nurturing the relationships between Configura and our Partners as well as building new relationships with potential Partners.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCE
Education: Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree
Responsibilities:
- Educate prospects on our product offerings and make recommendations that align with their business needs
- Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers
- Make sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
- Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
- Identify opportunities to grow business with existing as well as new clients
- Collaborate with our global sales team to reach prospective clients
- Following market trends within the industry
- Proactive initiating meetings face to face
- Spot new business opportunities within client network
- Attend and visit Industry events
- Keep records of client transactions and service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
- Coordinate with team members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
- Communicate client needs and demands to employer company
- Forecast and track client account metrics
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
- Act as the subject matter expert for our customers by maintaining a well-rounded understanding of our products and services
Requirements:
- 5 + years of experience from a similar role
- Strong language, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Ability to understand potential Partner’s business initiatives, challenges, and current environment
- You are a Team Player motivated by helping people that always approaches sales with a customer centric approach
- Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to embrace change and seek opportunities for improvement
- Aptitude for learning with a strong interest in new technologies and innovations
Beneficial but not required:
- Experience in a B2B software or ERP development team and/or organization
- Experience in the commercial furniture, material handling, and/or kitchen & bath industries
- Knowledge of customer company processes
- Previous success in B2B software sales experience
- Understanding digital transformation
