I. Position Summary

This position will be responsible for all day-to-day Equipment Control and Trucking functions in APL CIW Operations Centre.

II. Primary Accountabilities

a) To handle day-to-day Equipment & Trucking functions; such as empty inventory control, to give out directives about EIR release (CIW/YAT areas)
b) To coordinate with depot & OPS to minimize the long delinquent
c) Arrange the empty reposition via trucking/railing/barge to PRD
d) To timely update CCMS/ETC system for Equipment movement / Trucking drayman / P&D.
e) Prepare for / accomplish various reports for daily process needs or data analysis, such as daily inventory, discharging/loading figure, etc.
f) Manage the empty container inventory in each depot

III. MINIMUM Requirements

· College’s Degree or above
· 1 year relevant working experiences in related working interaction. Shipping industry preferred
· Good PC skills (basic office application software)
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluent Mandarin & good command of English (both written and oral).
· Able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks, willing to work under pressure & take additional responsibilities.
· Knowledge in equipment management & shipping network
· Experience in dealing with vendors & ship agent
