Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Global Operations

Responsibility

• Overall retail packaging design (die-line and plastic tray design) for specific product.

• Follow with Marketing for any new products/project request

• Define the label template and work with IT/production line to setup new label template

• Cover Retail products from design concept to product launch and coordinate different teams to ensure retail product launch timely and smoothly 

• Closely working with manufacturing functional team and supplier on process optimization and design improvement   

• Managing contract manufacturing  site and supplier for NPI projects

• Handling packaging related quality issue from packaging design perspective 

• Learn/develop the packaging knowledge and expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor or above, major in Packaging, Mechanical, and Technology, etc. ;

• At least 5 years working experience as packaging, or process engineer;

• Good at AutoCAD, Solidworks, Adobe illustration, Bartender (barcode info) etc.

• Packaging structure design & packaging test

• Familiar with supplier/contract manufacturing management will be a plus

• Familiar with printing process knowledge will be a plus

• Excellent verbal and written in English.

• Strong sense of responsibility, willing to learn; can work under pressure and meet the requirement of deadline

• Positive “can do” attitude to try and solve any problem

• High attention to details; self-motivated and team player
