Main Responsibilities:

1.Investigate the detail mechanism on different functional layers (TCO, optical coating and absorber) in thin

film solar cells with an aim to improve the conversion efficiency.
2.Optimize the performance of deposition systems including PECVD, PVD, LPCVD, APCVD and E-Gun etc..
3.Optimize laser scribing process for the thin film layers.
4.Perform analysis and characterize the quality of functional thin film layers by SEM, TEM, FTIR, SIMS, Raman,

XPS, CV and QE.
5.Perform technology transfer from Hong Kong RD center to Shenzhen production line.
6.Responsible for product development and related work.
7.Assist the failure analysis for various IEC 61646/61730 reliability testing.
8.Support relevant R&D activities (patents, collaboration projects, conference or technical presentation, etc.)

Location: Hong Kong / Shenzhen

Qualification

1.Minimum Master degree in Physics, Material Science, Optical Science, Photoelectric Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline. Candidate with working experience is preferable and fresh graduates will be also considered.
2.Familiar with MOS, PN Junction and optoelectronic devices.
3.Experience in thin film deposition and materials analysis will be a plus (PECVD, PVD,

E-Gun, etc.), especially in a-Si thin film solar cell, TCO, optical coatings or other photovoltaic technologies.
4.Familiar with SPC, FEMA, DOE, Minitab, LabView or QC 7-tools.
5.Aggressive, positive personality, willingness to work under pressure, good team spirit, creative and innovation mind are important.
6.Good command of spoken and written English as well as Chinese including Mandarin.
7.Good interpersonal skill to facilitate the tight project schedule.
8.Analytical mind and eager to learn.
9.Aggressive and positive attitude toward assigned duties.
10.Able to travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen if required.

The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval. At the time of the spin, employees will be moved to one of the three companies.
