Main Responsibilities:
This role is to closely work with upfront material supplier to develop new material for solar module, work with SBM department in new component qualification, and design for cost reduction and for new product with new materials
1.Responsible for cost reduction and reliability improvement for solar modules.
2.Evaluate reliability of encapsulant materials for solar modules.
3.Design and simplify backend process for mass production.
4.Responsible for trial run test of new materials in factory.
5.Develop new encapsulant materials via leveraging external resources.

Location: Shenzhen

Qualification:
1.Master Degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science or a similar technical

discipline.
2.At least 1~2 years working experience in sizeable manufacturing company or R&D center.
3.Candidate with hands-on experience on encapsulant materials and lamination process and polymer compounding

is preferred.
4.Familiar with IEC 61646 and 61730 test standard and reliability analysis.
5.Knowledge of Statistic Process Control and Six Sigma.
6.Proactive attitude & excellent communications skills.
7.Self-motivated, critical and analytical thinking and fast learner.
8.Knowledge of MS Office software and Minitab.
9.Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.

The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval. At the time of the spin, employees will be moved to one of the three companies.
