We seek, dynamic, creative and most importantly highly motivated individuals to fill the position of:

Software Development Director

(Location: Donghua Park, Shenzhen, China)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

l Reports to the Vice President - Development

l Manage China based team for development of next generation web based applications

l Manage HR issues associated with recruitment, training and staff appraisal.

l Bridging and coordinating Product Management and Development and make sure both parties are in sync on requirements and engineering design

l Review and create architectural design documents in English

l Enforce internal development process and ensure development teams delivering projects on time with good quantity

l Ensure development are adhered to internal coding conventions and frameworks

l Enforce the completion of full unit tests before deliver projects to QA

l Work with QA engineers in completing User Acceptance Tests

l Provide weekly status report on project progress and time allocation

l Engage the development team to adopt CMMI practices

l Manage the support of production and customer issues on responsible products

l Work with different divisions on understanding engineering design and specifications

l Contributing to the planning and analyzing of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional and technical expertise

l Designing and implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology

l Implementing or leading the implementation of the technical infrastructure, including networks, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management

l Integrating technical and application components to meet business requirements

l Participating in designing the framework of a technical infrastructure, including network, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management

l Designing, coding and testing program modules that meet design specifications

REQUIREMENTS :

l Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related majors

l Good communication skill in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both spoken and written

l Good person management skills, able to influence technical staff

l 8+ years of solid hands on Java Design and Development Experience

l 5+ years of development management experience

l Solid experience in Java technologies, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat and Apache

l Experience in management co-development work with outsourced suppliers

l Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services will be an advantage

l Experience in GWT is a plus

l Knowledgeable about database schema design and usage

l Good Knowledge in Object Oriented Design

l Experience in leading a team and provide technical guidance to sub-ordinates

l Good experience in the complete software development cycle

l Has experience in managing China development team is preferable

l Strong in Google Web Toolkit and Java development, code design and writing technical documents

l Experience in Data Center deployment and configuration
