Job Summary

This position is responsible for designing, coding, debugging and testing Linux/BSP related features for wireless communication products.

Key Accountabilities

•  Deliver high quality design document for BSP related features；
•  Implement C/C++ code by following the coding standards；
•  Apply common debugging tools (GDB/KDB/Trace32) to debug the issues；
•  Design and execute comprehensive unitary test cases for BSP related features；
• Participate in design and code review activities and contribute comments in the expertise areas；
• Online support or onsite support customer reported issues in the expertise areas；
• Prototype new technology and product ideas；

Mandatory Requirements

•  BSEE/CS is mandatory, MS is preferable；
• At least 3 years’ work experience in embedded software development；
• Strong experience in ASM/C/C++ programming；
• Strong embedded software debugging skills on driver/system level on real time operating systems or Linux；
•  Familiarity with ARM or other (X86, MIPS, PowerPC) architecture, assembly, emulators and JTAG debuggers；
• Hands-on development experiences with at least 4 of following interfaces:  PCIe/I2C/I2S/SPI/SDIO/UART/USB/HSIC/GPIO
• Proactive working attitude, being able to work independently and as a good team player；

Preferences

• Experience in Qualcomm mobile solutions (e.g. modem RFFE drivers)；
• Experience in hardware schematic/layout design；
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzers, test-mobiles & logging tools；
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation；
