Role: Responsible for managing the interaction & directing communication between USA Product Management and China factories; including factory development, price negotiation and order follow-up.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage, complete and fulfill all aspects of the product launch that relates to China manufacturing
• Possess a complete and thorough understanding of Product Bill Of Materials & Product Art Work
• Daily communication with the US Product Team, Supply Chain Team and other related teams
• Daily communication with vendor (pricing, samples, quality and production scheduling, etc.)
• Conduct price negotiations with vendors
• Schedule factory evaluations and quality inspections with Colorb？k Quality Team
• Manage vendor production timelines to ensure timely delivery
• Understand customer/account shipping and labeling requirements to ensure correct implementation
• Work with Testing Team and vendors to ensure that product conform to safety standards for Industry, Customer and Colorb？k established protocols
• Source new qualified factories if necessary.

Qualified Candidates:

• Degree holder in business related field
• Fluency in written & spoken English and Mandarin
• At least 4 years’ experience in merchandising
• Consumer product experience; preferably in Toys field and Euro-market
• Experience working in a trading company or buying office selling to European retailers
• Strong negotiation skills and good supplier management technique
• Solid vendor communication addressing pricing, sampling and production scheduling, etc.
• Knowledge of toys as well as relevant testing requirements is preferred
• Understanding of Quality Control; a proven record working with manufactures to improve quality a plus
• Well organized, responsible, proactive, detail orientation and team player
• Willing to learn and work under pressure.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required (Word, Excel & Outlook)
